Clients must have their rights communicated, respected
and protected. To that end, we believe clients have the right to:
Comprehensive personal support, homemaking, rehabilitation and
visiting nursing services of the highest quality provided by highly
skilled and knowledgeable staff,
Services which maintain or enhance their ability to enjoy life to its
fullest,
Participate in decision-making regarding their care needs,
Make informed choices,
Express concerns about the care or service they receive, and have
their concerns addressed without prejudice, fear of reprisal or
interference,
Accept or decline consent to the provision of any service or treatment
regimen,
Care that respects their dignity, individuality, privacy and
independence,
Expect that their ethnic, spiritual, linguistic, cultural beliefs and
customs will be respected and honoured at all times.
Our care model is innovative, effective and very client-centered, and our
approach to client care is multi-disciplinary, collaborative and
cooperative.

Continue to incorporate our philosophy in planning, training and
systems of interaction;
Enhance the level of quality that clients expect both in terms of
service delivery and staff excellence;
Expand our homemaking, nursing, therapy and rehabilitative services to
provide a comprehensive continuum of home and community health services;
Specialize in service delivery in geographically under-served
communities and specific client populations with unique and specialized
needs;
Forge strategic alliances and creative working relationships that
enable us to meet the challenges of demographic change, health services
restructuring and reduced funding;
Create innovative, cost effective service delivery and funding models
of distinctive value;
Strive for a National Quality Award under the Banner of the Canada
Awards for Excellence Program.
